Hirosaki-Higashikōmae Station (弘前東高前駅 Hirosaki Higashikōmae-eki ?) is a railway station on the Kōnan Railway Kōnan Line located in the city of Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. It is 0.9 kilometers from the northern terminus of the line at Hirosaki Station.

History

Hirosaki-Higashikōmae Station was opened on September 7, 1927, as the Matsumori-chō Station (Stop) (松森町駅(停留所)?) . It was elevated in status to a full station on March 18, 1929, and renamed Minami-Hirosaki Station (南弘前駅?) on June 17 of the same year. All freight operations ceased in June 1973. From September 1985 it has been a kan'i itaku station. On June 1, 1988, the station name was changed to Higashi-Kōgyōkōmae Station (東工業高前駅?). It was renamed to its present name on April 1, 2005.
